Valencia, Girona and Olot
After a slight mishap whereby we missed our train we arrived in Valencia the birthplace of Paella.  A few words of advice - Don’t come here looking for good paella.

The original Lisboa
Also known as Lisbon, outside of Portugal, it is the Portuguese Capitol. Funnily enough it reminded me a lot of Macau. With the Anti-Gypsy rage still driving me, we took the overnight train to Lisbon from Madrid.

Bloody Gypsies!
A kiss from a gypsy is meant to bring you good luck. I think I’ve heard or read that somewhere. Also in most cultures the kiss stage comes before the hands down your pants stage.
Not so in Spain. I had a gypsy’s hand in my pants a good fifteen minutes before I got a kiss.

A Spanish Adventure
Madrid - So we landed in Madrid to start the first leg of our Iberian travels.
We had two days in Madrid before were to join a four day tour of Southern Spain with Busabout.
Busabout are better known for their hop-on hop-off bus service that operates around Europe, providing cheap and flexible travel.

“Pricey” Jordan
How does a 45 minute ferry crossing start at 1pm and end at 8pm? Even Moses and the Jews made it across the Red Sea in less time. This saga began on the Egypt side when our Tour Leader said goodbye to us.

The Burning Bush
Seriously, why is it that people that are spoken to by God feel the need to climb the highest mountain they can find. I’m sure God can speak to you while you rest by a seaside resort just as easily. The Mt Sinai climb started at 2am and took three entire hours.

Egypt with the Geckos
And so it begins. The tour started with a call from our tour leader telling us that there was a meeting at 8pm for the group. So basically we were late by five minutes … since we were just lounging in our room only just starting to think of heading downstairs. Good start!
